Singer/Songwriter Classic Cauley has a PURE Love for Great Music

Classic is her birth name, but the woman behind the name is a songwriter, specifically lyricist/melody writer who also sings. Singing solos at church was her first experience with touching people through music. Performing in the Black Artistic Review as an actress and featured soloist during her college days provided her a wealth of performance experience.

Classic has refocused on her first love music and is songwriting and performing again and has performed at local events in the Los Angeles area such as local colleges and charity events. She trained under the acclaimed Julliard graduate Rhona Klinghofer, where she studied jazz and musical theatre for voice after being accepted into the Applied Music Program.

Classic has spent the last few years concentrating on crafting her writing skills and building her catalog, and recording while also pursuing co writing opportunities and film and TV placements. She is currently partnered with composer A.B. known for song placements in some of Adam Sandler's films such as "Grown Ups" and most recently "Just Go With It."

Classic brings the added bonus of a beautiful and rich mezzo soprano voice, and skill in melody and lyric writing. She aspires to create a catalog with thousands of great songs like the great Diane Warren.

Her musical influences range from Deniece Williams, Minnie Riperton, Stevie Wonder, Regina Belle and the late great Phyllis Hyman and many others. Classic has a pure love for great music from many styles from Gospel, R&B, Neo Soul, Pop, Hip Hop, Country, and Jazz. She has hit the ground running and is ready to go. Get ready for something purely Classic.
